Ed is an experienced and versatile guitarist and composer based in London. He plays and composes in a wide range of musical styles including latin, flamenco, classical, blues, rock and pop. He has performed in many solo situations and with a number of bands throughhout his career.
In addition to the guitar, Ed also plays the Cuban tres (Cuban version of the guitar with three pairs of strings), The Brazilian Cavaquinho (baby guitar with 4 steel strings), the Venezuelan Cuatro (smaller version of the Spanish guitar) and the Andean Charango (smaller than the ukelele with 5 pairs of strings). He also plays latin American percussion.
Ed is available to play for any event including weddings, private and corporate functions and parties and also public venues in and around the London area and South England. He can adapt his repertoire to suit the occasion and your needs. Especially popular is his programme of music titled 'Iberoamerica' which takes the audience on a journey of guitar music from Spain, through the Carribean and South America. This features an amazing mix of folk, jazz, and classical music from Spain, Cuba, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, Chile and Bolivia. Read more about it here.
