Ed is an experienced and versatile guitarist based in London. He plays in a wide range of musical styles including classical, blues, rock, pop, latin and flamenco. Ed has perfomed with a number of bands and in solo situations throughout his career. Currently Ed is performing latin and flamenco music as a soloist and in a group as well as performing pop music at various events.
In addition to the guitar Ed also plays the Cuban tres (Cuban version of the guitar with three pairs of strings), The Brazilian Cavaquinho (baby guitar with 4 steel strings), the Venezuelan Cuatro (smaller version of the Spanish guitar) and the Andean Charango (smaller than the ukelele with 5 pairs of strings).
Ed is available to play live for any event including weddings, private and corporate functions and parties and also public venues in and around the London area and South England. He can adapt his repertoire to suit the occasion and your needs. He can provide you with pop and rock covers for your function as well as a programme of music titled 'Journey Through Latin America' which takes the audience on a journey of guitar music from Spain, through the Carribean and South America.
Ed also teaches guitar in the South West London area. Ed is fluent in 4 languages and in his spare time loves dancing salsa and travelling. Biography
